Alisyn Camerota
Alisyn Camerota is a journalist who is also an author as well as the anchor for CNN's morning show "New Day." She lives in Westport, CT, and was elected to Westport Country Playhouse's Board of trustees. For the past three decades in journalism, Camerota has covered stories across the globe, earning one Emmy Award for her breaking reporting on the investigation for Roger Stone, and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for her news breaking coverage of Hurricane Maria's impact upon Puerto Rico. Johnna G. Torsone, of Stamford was appointed the honorary trustee after her tenure on the Board of Trustees since 2007. Anna Czekaj Farber of Westport has been appointed chair of the Board following her tenure on the board in 2013. Czekaj Farber replaces Barbara Streicker, a Westport resident who served as the chairperson of the board since October 2015. She continues her service on the board, beginning in 2006. Board of trustees members include 26 members.
