Alice Sophia Eve was the daughter of actors Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan on the 6th of February in 1982, London England. Her family was a close knit group of twin brothers Jack and George. Regarding her schooling, she went to Bedales School and then More House School. She proceeded to take her A-levels in Westminster School in London. For her gap year Alice was studying English in St Catherine's College in Oxford and at Beverly Hills Playhouse. In Oxford, Alice was active in the theater. Her romance with Adam O'Riordan who is a poet, is well known. The pair met at Oxford however they parted ways in the year 2012.
