Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, and film actor. She was born in January 31st, 1937, until January 19th of 2008. [1] Pleshette started her professional career in the theater and then began to appear in films in the late 1950s. She then appeared in films with a prominent name like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). She later appeared in various television productions, mainly as a guest actor, and played Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, earning several Emmy Award nominations for her work. Pleshette was born on January 31, 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was a dancer, artist and choreographer who performed under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager for the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, and the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
